RREAF Holdings announced a key development milestone in the progression of its Margaritaville Resort and Beach Cottages project in Galveston. As the firm advances toward vertical construction, the update reflects continued momentum on the $700M beachfront development.

The company recently completed the geotechnical test pile phase, a critical step in confirming the site’s ability to support planned structures. This milestone positions the project to move into the next phase of construction activity.
In parallel, RREAF has secured several important approvals, including a federal beachfront construction permit and a trademark sublicense agreement with Margaritaville. The firm continues to work closely with the City of Galveston as development progresses.
The project is expected to feature a 300,000 square foot Margaritaville Beach Resort, including a water park, dining concepts, and a large inventory of guest rooms, alongside 278 for sale furnished cottages. Offsite cottage construction is already underway, with contractors and landscaping teams preparing for the next phase.
RREAF also plans to deliver a model cottage in the near term, with prospective buyers expected to begin visiting the site this summer.
