Our Foundation
Founded in 2010 and based in Dallas, RREAF Holdings is a privately held, vertically integrated commercial real estate firm. We specialize in the acquisition, development, financing, repositioning, and management of complex multifamily and hospitality assets across select Sun Belt markets.
Backed by a proven track record, RREAF has completed more than 130 transactions and acquired/developed over 23,000 units/keys since inception. Today, the firm oversees more than 90 assets, representing approximately $4.7 billion AUM in various real estate asset classes across high-growth U.S. markets.
With vertical integration across the project lifecycle, RREAF is built to execute at scale, delivering consistent performance across a diversified portfolio.

RREAF Holdings purchased Beachside Resort Panama City Beach Hotel

Founding of Multifamily Platform
First Multifamily asset was purchased to launch the Multifamily Platform. One of RREAF’s largest Platforms to date

RREAF Acquires Gulf Coast Portfolio
A $95mm Multifamily Portfolio consisting of 1,086 units along the Gulf Coast
2017
RREAF Acquires Place 10 Residential
RREAF becomes the active owner of Place 10 Property Management to become a vertically integrated company
2018
RREAF Opens the Cambria Hotel
RREAF opens a 126-room GUD Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina.
2019
RREAF Acquires Sunbelt 12 Portfolio
RREAF purchases a Multifamily Portfolio consisting of 3,600 residential units throughout the Sunbelt Region
2020
RREAF Acquires the Transcostal 21 Portfolio
21 Multifamily Properties consisting of over 4,000 units in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia and North Carolina
2021
Southeast Multifamily Portfolio III
RREAF purchased a ten-asset portfolio in partnership with 3650 REIT and DLP Capital. The portfolio comprises 2,744 units primarily located throughout the southeast, with two midwestern properties built between 1998 and 2014.
2022
RREAF opens the Fairfield Inn and Suites
In partnership with Innisfree Hotels, RREAF rebuilt a former Best Western Beachside Resort that sustained damage from Hurricane Sally in 2020 to be a Fairfield Inn and Suites

RREAF joins Jimmy Buffet Inspired Franchise with two planned developments

Stephen Patterson

Team Member Spotlight
Stephen Patterson is the Managing Director of Capital Markets on RREAF Holdings' Capital Markets Team, where he contributes to sourcing retail capital.
Prior to joining RREAF Holdings in 2025, Stephen worked at Alden Investment Group and, before that, at Ameriprise Financial. Stephen received his Ed.D. from Stephen F. Austin State University, M.Ed. from Lamar University, and his B.S. from Lamar University.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys playing golf, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.

In 2025, the RREAF Charities Committee marked another successful year by raising over $100k in support of multiple local causes across the Dallas community, including ALS Association, Chef to the Shelters, First Tee of Greater Dallas, Cafe Momentum, the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Entryway, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Search Ministries. RREAF also continued its annual Blessing Bag initiative, providing essential supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness. In total, $109,000 was dedicated to helping uplift and strengthen the communities we serve.

RREAF contributed $25,000 to support Entryway’s mission through board leadership and participated in the Multifamily Outlook event with a $2,750 sponsorship.
ALS Association
RREAF sponsored 6 teams at the Shootout ALS Event, contributing $7,500

Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation
RREAF donated $50,000 through a combination of community fundraising and a company match to assist Kerr County in flood recovery and rebuilding.
Alzheimer's Association
Participated in and supported the Walk to End Alzheimer's with a $2,200 contribution.
