RREAF Holdings recently acquired The Palms at Chatham, a 300-unit garden-style multifamily community located at 5110 Garrard Avenue in Savannah, Georgia. The acquisition represents another strategic addition to the firm’s expanding multifamily portfolio and underscores its continued conviction in the long-term fundamentals supporting the Savannah market.
Originally built in 2003, The Palms at Chatham features one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes with an average unit size of approximately 1,005 square feet. The community offers a range of resident amenities, including a swimming pool, clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center, yoga studio, dog park, and outdoor gathering spaces.
The acquisition reflects RREAF Holdings’ ongoing strategy of identifying well-located multifamily assets in high-growth markets where operational expertise and targeted capital improvements can create long-term value.
Savannah continues to benefit from strong demographic and economic trends, including population growth, employment expansion, and sustained renter demand. According to market research highlighted in the article, multifamily fundamentals remain favorable nationally as renter demand continues to outpace new supply and the affordability gap between renting and homeownership continues to widen.
RREAF Holdings remains focused on acquiring and enhancing multifamily communities across high-growth Sun Belt markets, leveraging its vertically integrated platform to improve resident experiences while creating long-term value for investors.
