Paul Bass

Paul Bass serves as VP, Risk Management for RREAF Holdings and its affiliates. A member of the State Bar of Texas and licensed to practice in the Federal Districts Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Mr. Bass has practiced since 1992 both in-house and in private practice which involved over 30 years of litigation, trial work and risk management in the areas of mortgage servicing, real estate, commercial contracts, insurance, banking/finance transactions, chemical manufacturing, and products/premises liability defense. In addition, Paul has managed government investigations, insurance recovery and insurance renewals for large publicly traded corporations.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Bass worked for Wells Fargo and Household International in San Francisco, CA making home loans and personal lines of credit. During that time, Paul was a California licensed life insurance sales advisor.

Mr. Bass received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Southern Methodist University (B.A. 1985) and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tulsa, College of Law (J.D. 1992). Mr. Bass has presented on various continuing legal education topics including Toxic Tort Settlement, Giving Your Deposition as a Corporate Representative and most recently on Lender Liability.
