John Scoggins
Mr. Scoggins began his real estate career while in college working for a local family office where his primary focus was ground-up development and revitalization of urban mixed-use retail and hospitality projects. After college John became a jack-of-all-trades broker representing tenants, buyers, sellers, investment sales and the acquisition and development of both commercial and residential land.
Mr. Scoggins has been responsible for identifying raw land, contract negotiation, property review, underwriting, acquisition, entitlements, project financing, creative design oversight and development. To date John has successfully completed over 250 real estate transactions with an aggregate value over $1 billion and has a passion for finding raw land and the subsequent development.
Mr. Scoggins is also partner of ProsRent.com, a cloud-based marketplace platform for suppliers and renter’s of construction equipment. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where he earned degrees in financial economics, real estate, public policy & political science. He is an active member in his church, an avid golfer, traveller and enjoys spending his spare time with his daughter Ella and their dog.
