Gustavo Diaz

Gustavo Perez Diaz holds a degree in Music from the University of Missouri St. Louis and has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources. He has worked in multiple aspects of Human Resources including all phases of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, Employee Relations, and Employee Training and Development. Mr. Perez Diaz started his HR journey in 2013 when he joined the Management team with Hennes and Mauritz. While at H&M, he was given the opportunity to travel internationally to both Recruit new talent and implement best practices for the newly hired leadership. Mr. Perez Diaz has 5 years of Property Management experience as a Leasing Manager and Director, which give him a unique perspective and skill set in the recruiting field. He leverages his social networking skills to reach out to a wide range of potential candidates and build rapport with them. He is passionate about finding and hiring the best talent for diverse and dynamic organizations.

Prior to joining RR Living, Mr. Perez Diaz was employed with JPMorgan Chase & Co as a Sourcing specialist with an emphasis on Connected Commerce. There, he was a leader in finding talent in challenging markets and creating strategies to identify solutions. Additionally, he facilitated training to share his knowledge on Connected Commerce Sourcing strategies and best practices with other members of the Sourcing and Recruiting team.

In his current role, he is responsible for implementing new processes and recruiting strategies, sourcing and tracking candidates, planning and executing job fairs, and providing and requesting feedback from directors and regional teams. Given his prior experience in Leasing and property management, Mr. Perez Diaz conducts property visits to assess recruiting needs, create strategies to increase hiring in niche areas and assist the teams with Resident Relations and Leasing Best Practices.

Outside of work, Mr. Perez Diaz is an active member of the Theater Community in the DFW and has performed with Dallas Children’s Theater, Water Tower Theater, Outcry Theater, and the Latino Cultural Center where he performs theater and musical theater in English and Spanish.
