RREAF Holdings, in partnership with Innisfree Hotels and Margaritaville, is currently developing the Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort on Galveston’s East End. Once completed, the approximately 95-acre destination resort will include 278 for-sale beachfront cottages, a 334-room resort hotel, multiple dining venues, resort pools, entertainment offerings, and a variety of family-focused amenities designed to create a unique coastal experience for visitors and homeowners alike.
The article highlighted RREAF Holdings’ use of off-site modular construction for the resort’s beach cottages, an approach intended to improve construction efficiency while minimizing disruption to the surrounding coastal environment. The cottages are being constructed off-site before being transported and assembled at the resort location.
The development is expected to significantly contribute to the local economy through construction activity, long-term hospitality employment opportunities, and increased tourism visitation. Galveston currently attracts millions of visitors annually, and the Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort is expected to further expand the island’s appeal as a year-round destination for travelers from across Texas and beyond.
