Mr. Sowden graduated from Rhodes College in 2016 where he earned his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Commerce and Business. While in college, Mr. Sowden was an active and founding member of several campus organizations. He served as the Vice President and co-founder of the Rhodes Real Estate Club; he was also an executive board and charter member of the Rhodes College pre-law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta. In addition to the clubs he helped form, he competed in varsity level tennis all four years in school.
Mr. Sowden was also an active member in Greek Life, where he served on the executive board as the Social Chairman and Secretary of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. In 2013, Mr. Sowden spent his summer working as an intern for Dallas-based mortgage brokerage firm Metropolitan Capital Advisors, where he gained experience in how to arrange debt and equity capital for commercial real estate on behalf of developers, investors, and owners. This experience piqued his interest in the commercial real estate and led him to pursue a job with RREAF Holdings.
Mr. Sowden joined the RREAF Holdings, LLC in 2016 where he began as an intern primarily focusing on market research, creating models, and packaging investment opportunities. His role has transitioned into acquisitions and new business development.
